Clingendael Gas Day op 2 september
Het Clingendael International Energy Programme (CIEP) organiseert op 2 september haar jaarlijkse Gas Day over geopolitieke, economische en politieke trends rond de Europese gasindustrie. Private en publieke partijen en academici bespreken die dag onder meer de scenarios voor de gasvraag in de toekomst en de manieren om om te gaan met onzekerheden op de markt.

>> On 2 September CIEP will organise its annual Gas Day. During the Gas Day 2010 we will discuss the major geopolitical, economic and policy trends that affect the future of the European gas industry together with a large number of stakeholders from private, public and academic circles. During the seminar the issues deemed most important will be addressed. Listed below are some of the issues that the programme will cover:
- Gas demand scenarios for the future;
- Managing market uncertainties;
- The strategies of the main pipeline suppliers on the Eastern border of Europe;
- LNG developments;
- acquiring new supplies and developing gas infrastructure: a market or community responsibility.
During the seminar senior representatives from Royal Dutch Shell, McKinsey & Company, E.ON Ruhrgas, RWE, Gas Transport Services, Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, ExxonMobil, and CIEP will present their vision on the major developments in the gas market.
